Art in Tanzania is a non-governmental organization founded in 2001. The organization is registered in Tanzania, Zanzibar, Finland and Ethiopia. Art in Tanzania welcomes volunteers and interns to participate in community projects and also organizes adventure programs such as safaris and Mount Kilimanjaro climbs.

There are volunteer and intern projects for example in the fields of Education, Medical and Health, Social media and Arts & Music, along with many others. Art in Tanzania has placements in Dar Es Salaam, Moshi, Karatu and Masai Land in N’gorongoro, Serengeti and Zanzibar.

 

Our Mission Statement

To promote the development of the most vulnerable communities in Tanzania though education, arts, health and environmental conservation programs, developing partnerships with local NGOs and with the support of international volunteers who help funding our programs while having a meaningful experience.
